The Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC) opened on October 20, 2020 it's 4th COVID-19 Isolation Facility which is the hospital’s proactive response to a possible influx of COVID-19-related cases. To realize this, the Pediatrics and Medicine wards are repurposed to become a COVID-19 Extension Ward and it will be designated for COVID-19 positive patients who are moderate with co-morbidity, severe and critical cases.
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao turned over today, 25 September 2020, Automated Nucleic Acid Extraction Machine to Cotabato Regional and Medical Center (CRMC).
