October 18, 2022, the National DOH Employees’ Association (NADEA) Inc., held its 2nd day of the 3rd Union Leaders Consultative Quarterly Meeting at the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center Grand Auditorium. The whole day was full packed with different discussions and activities for the attendees. Different officers and leaders from different associations under the NADEA attended the 2 nd day activity.
Among the different topics discussed during the 2 nd day are Public Section Unionism, Philippine Labor Framework, COVID compensation and Health Emergency Assistance (HEA). The Newly Elected National Executive Officers had their oath taking with Dr. Maria Rosario S. Vergeire (OIC- Department of Health Secretary) via online platform.
The activities continued until the night for the awards and fellowship. The program was officially opened with the message from the Medical Center Chief of CRMC, Dr. Ishmael R. Dimaren with a message of support to NADEA and CRMCEA activities. During the fellowship night, awarding of plaques and appreciation were given to NBOT officers, and the outgoing President of NADEA, Mr. Ferdando Depano. The incoming NADEA president, Dr. Louella Jeanne A. Lao awarded the plaque of appreciation to the outgoing President. The fellowship night was the time to relax and have fun after a long day of activities.
NADEA has always abided by its mandate which is to promote employee welfare and establish a harmonious relationship with the Department of Health (DOH) management. In CRMC, the officers of CRMCEA and the management of the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center headed by our Medical Center Chief, Dr. Ishmael R. Dimaren, continues to work together to provide all the benefits for the employees.
