On January 19-20, 2023, Cotabato Regional and Medical Center conducted Janazah Management Training at CRMC Auditorium Function Room for our healthcare workers.

The Janazah Management Training is one of the programs of Ibadah Friendly Hospital under the Muslim Spiritual Care Committee. The objective is to train healthcare workers on handling cadavers according to the Muslim rites. Also, this will be included in the institutional policy and procedure on post-mortem care.

The two-day training focused on lectures and actual demonstration in handing cadaver from cloth preparation, bathing, up to performance of prayer for the dead. The resource speakers were Ustadz Sadawi S. Cana, Dr. Sherjan P. Kalim, Mr. Edward B. Cabalida, LPT, Mr. Yasser Andal, RMT and Ms. Anida P. Abubakar, RN

The CRMC management headed by its Medical Center Chief Dr. Ishmael R. Dimaren, ensures that all patients are given quality services regardless of their religious beliefs by continuously enhancing the skills of the employees.
