World Clubfoot Day  2020

World Clubfoot Day is an annual awareness day observed every June 3. It was established by the Ponseti International Association, a global organization dedicated to training and educating healthcare providers on the treatment for congenital talipes equinovarus, commonly known as clubfoot. The date was agreed upon to celebrate and honor the day Dr. Ignacio Ponseti was born, the man who developed the Ponseti method for the treatment of clubfoot.

As part of the Gender and Development Program for our patients, our facility conducted the activity #ProjectKAPATIRAN. Safety protocols were ensured throughout the duration of the activity. Checking of temperature upon entrance to the activity area were taken, social distancing was observed and alcohol for disinfection was provided.
